GlobalLeadIn ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the GlobalLeadIn mobile application and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account & profile data. When you register, we collect information such as your name, email address, username, country/location, professional role, phone number (optional), leadership style preference, profile photo, and recruiter status if you choose to provide it.

Resume & user content. If you upload a resume or post content (posts, comments, messages, resources), we store that content to provide the Service.

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the app, such as features used, engagement with community content, course progress, and general app activity needed to operate and improve the Service.

Device & push notifications. If you enable notifications, we store a push notification token associated with your device so we can send alerts you have opted into.

Purchase & subscription data. Subscriptions are billed through Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing. We receive subscription status and entitlement information from RevenueCat (and the applicable store) to unlock Premium, Elite, and related features. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.

2. How We Use Information

• Create and manage your account.
• Provide community, coaching, messaging, and learning features.
• Process and validate subscription access.
• Send transactional emails (such as verification codes) and, if enabled, push notifications.
• Moderate content, enforce our Terms, and protect user safety.
• Analyze usage to improve performance, reliability, and product experience.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted providers to operate the Service. These may process data on our behalf:

• Convex — backend database, authentication, file storage, and HTTP hosting.
• Apple and Google — App Store/Play Store distribution and store purchase processing.
• RevenueCat — subscription management and entitlement verification.
• Resend — delivery of transactional email (such as OTP verification codes).

Each provider processes data according to its own privacy policy and our agreements with them.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

• With service providers listed above, solely to operate the Service.
• With other users, according to your profile visibility and the features you use (for example, public posts or messages you send).
• When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with appropriate notice where required.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we deactivate access and remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention or backup integrity).

6. Your Choices & Rights

• Update profile information in the app under Profile > Settings > Account.
• Manage notification preferences in Settings.
• Manage Apple subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings or Google Play subscriptions in Google Play settings.
• Request account deletion in-app or by email (see below).

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact us to exercise those rights.

7. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time:

• In-app: Profile > Settings > Security & Privacy > Delete Account.
• By email: Send a request from your registered email to support@globalleadin.com.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Children's Privacy

GlobalLeadIn is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Users

Your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the Service, you consent to such processing subject to applicable law.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
